✅ How to Apply for a Partial Scholarship

We appreciate your interest in joining Fort Bend Fierce and understand the financial commitment that club volleyball can bring. Please follow the steps below to complete your Partial Scholarship Application.

📝 Step 1: Complete the Scholarship Application

  • Fill out all required fields in the application honestly and thoroughly.
  • Include detailed information about your household, income, employment status, and any recent changes in your financial situation.
  • Athletes should answer the short commitment questions to express their goals and dedication to the sport.

📎 Step 2: Submit Supporting Documents

  • Be prepared to provide proof of income (recent pay stubs, tax documents, or proof of public assistance).
  • While not required, a letter explaining financial hardship may strengthen your application.
  • These documents may be requested by the Club Director during the review process.

📌 Important Notes for Applicants

  • Scholarships are partial and do not cover the full cost of club fees.
  • Each athlete is still responsible for their annual USA Volleyball (USAV) Membership Fee , which is required to participate in sanctioned events.
  • Scholarship recipients are expected to attend practices, tournaments, and participate fully , just like any other player on the team.
  • Funding is limited and will be awarded to families who demonstrate financial need and a strong commitment to Fort Bend Fierce.

Once your application is submitted:

  • Our team will carefully review your information.
  • The Club Director will contact you directly via phone or email regarding the status of your application.

Scholarships will be awarded based on:

  • Demonstrated financial need.
  • Athlete commitment to volleyball and team expectations.
  • Family support and communication.
  • Availability of scholarship funding for the season.
