2026–27 Club Volleyball Tryouts Information
Welcome to the 2026–27 season of Fierce Volleyball! We are excited to announce our upcoming tryouts for the next competitive volleyball season. As we continue growing in our new facility, we have updated our tryout structure this season to better accommodate our space and provide athletes with a more focused evaluation experience.
Each tryout session will be limited to 20 athletes at a time, allowing our coaching staff to provide more detailed instruction, evaluations, and feedback throughout the process. During registration, athletes will be able to select the specific session they would like to attend based on availability.
Please review the information below to help you prepare for tryouts.
Tryout Dates and Sessions
Our tryout dates will be done in two different sessions. When registering choose the time that best fits your schedule. We will complete make-up tryouts in July. We will also have the opportunity for private tryouts anytime throughout the summer. Last acceptance for enrollment to the team will be August 10th.
11U-12U: June 17th Session 1: 3:00PM-5:00PM Session 2: 6:00PM-8:00PM
13U-14U: June 18th Session 1: 3:30PM-5:30PM Session 2: 6:30PM-8:30PM
15U-17U: June 19th Session 1: 3:30PM-5:30PM Session 2: 6:30PM-8:30PM
Round 2 Tryouts: July 19th 11:00AM-1:00PM (14U-17U) AND July 20th 5:00PM-7:00PM (11U-13U)
Private Tryouts: Can be scheduled anytime using our booking calendar. The cost for a private tryout is $40.
Eligibility Requirements
Age Range: Anyone competing in the 11-12 USAV division is eligible to try out. Please refer to age chart as USAV is not based on age but birthdate.
Age Chart: Please review our age chart on the website to ensure you are in the correct age category.
10's Regional Division: Born on or after July 1, 2016, or typically 4th grade and below
11's Division: Born between July 1, 2015, and June 30, 2016, or typically 5th grade
12's Division: Born between July 1, 2014, and June 30, 2015, or typically 6th grade
13's Division: Born between July 1, 2013, and June 30, 2014, or typically 7th grade
14's Division: Born between July 1, 2012, and June 30, 2013, or typically 8th grade
15's Divisions: Born between July 1, 2011, and June 30, 2012, or typically freshman
16's Divisions: Born between July 1, 2010, and June 30, 2011, or typically sophomore
17's Division: Born between July 1, 2009, and June 30th 2010, or typically junior
Tryout Categories
During registration, you will be asked to select which team level you wish to try out for. You can choose from the following options:
National (15 and Up Only)
Regional
Local
Team selection will be based on skill level, effort, and attitude. Team rankings will be determined based on the overall skill level.
Registration Process
Registration for tryouts are currently open and you can register here. A registration link will be posted on our website. Walk-ins will be accepteed. The registration fee is $20 per athlete.
After the tryouts, players will be provided a letter with an offer, a request back, waitlist, or a they did not make the team. Each family will have 72 hours to respond before the spot opens to another athlete.
If invited to a second tryout, you will not need to pay again. Just show up to the second tryout and state that you're returning for another evaluation.
Team Acceptance & Deposit
If you are offered a position at tryouts, you can accept immediately or have 72 hours to inform us if you'd like to accept the offer.
A non-refundable deposit is required upon accepting your spot, which will be applied to your season dues. The deposit is due immediately after accepting your position.
We offer three deposit options to accommodate different financial situations:

All paperwork and deposits will be handled electronically – no need to bring a voided check or cash!
What to Bring
Please be prepared by bringing the following items to your tryout:
Water Bottle
Kneepads
Breathable clothing (It gets hot in the gym)
Tryout Structure
Tryouts will consist of various drills and evaluations to assess your skills in volleyball and overall athleticism. The following will be evaluated:
6 core volleyball skills
Competitiveness through 6v6 games
Individual athletic evaluations (vertical jump, reach, etc.)
Selection Process
Some players may be offered a position on the spot.
If you’re asked to return for a second tryout, you will not need to pay again. Just show up for the second tryout and mention that you’re returning.
Practice Schedule
Practice schedules are provided at the time of tryouts with prospective athletes.

🏐 How to Book a Private Evaluation for Tryouts
Private tryouts are available for athletes who are unable to attend our official tryout dates or prefer a private evaluation. These evaluations provide players the opportunity to be considered for placement on one of our teams for the upcoming 2026–2027 club season.
Please Note: Athletes who complete a private evaluation will not be informed of team placement until after official tryouts have concluded.
